This is perhaps the greatest advantage that comes from dating an older man. Generally, older men understand themselves better than their younger counterparts. They aren't as hormone-driven, yet can usually hold their own in bed. With the wisdom that comes with years, they now better understand what women really need, and do what they can to provide it.
Financial security
Older men are usually more financially secure than younger ones. There are more established in their field and further along the career path. They also have larger bank accounts; which means that they can usually provide for a family, let alone a lover.

Generation gap
Depending on the difference between your ages, this may or may not be a problem. A large enough generation gap will most likely result in an incompatibility of interests - a problem for any long-term relationship.
