Healthy Rebound Relationship
Heading for a rebound relation? Binding in a relation immediately after coming out of the recent break is called rebound. It is like heading for another experience, thereby punishing oneself by not giving enough time for healing from the previous emotional wound. |
A sorrow struck person would not be capable enough emotionally to handle a rebound relation sensibly. There may be a lot of emotional turmoil that a person has due to their failure in their last relationship. But ultimately they have to come out of this boundary line. One should see to it that the partner does not lose their patience.
To maintain a healthy rebound relation, one should first of all understand what they want and what they expect out of their partner and also should allow some space and time for the opposite person too. A relation, that too rebound, should have solid grounds of mutual understanding and acceptance to remain healthy.
It has been observed; often a rebound relationship has a very short life. Sometimes when a person comes to the terms of their past relationship they may realize that the partner they chose for rebound relation is not the right one for them and may prefer to move ahead in their life. They would not want any more compromises. A healthy dialogue and mutual understanding can become a strong layout for a rebound relation to prolong. An open communication between the partners can go a long way in converting the rebound relationship to a long term relationship. Otherwise, it would be something like the saying “from frying pan into the fire”.
