The comfort zone could last long, provided both the parties are really serious and care for each other. It is their support and care that made it possible to come out of the grief stricken phase.
The longevity of rebound relations depend on both the concerned and their comfort level. Once the affected person comes to their term with the situation, they can easily part ways and avoid heartbreak in rebound relations.
