Motivation creates an atmosphere congenial for the maximum output that can be measured in terms of job contentment and productivity. Also, a motivated staff leads to reduced exit rate and enhanced allegiance towards the company. These aspects also act as positive influences on the development and rise of the organization.
Management experts opine that in order to attain the optimal results from employee incentive programs, it is pertinent to converse about the same openly with the employees. It may be prudent to create a platform wherein employees get the opportunity to express what motivates them and what kind of incentives or rewards do they look forward to. Thereafter, the heads should devise a plan taking heed of personalized requirements. The implementation of such a program will certainly create a positive effect on the motivation of the employees and enhance the profit margins of the organization as well.
